This weekend we moved the little ladies to the back yard and put the ramp in the coop so that they could walk down and play in the dirt below. The girls were loving being able to be chickens, once they could play in the dirt the were almost instantly taking dust baths and scratching. They were some happy little girls! They are all growing so fast. The black australorps have grown the most I think and they are loosing their downy feathers and are getting their little pin feathers. Everyone seems to play nicely and they seem to enjoy all being together. I am really hoping that we will have six laying hens when the time comes!
