You know my love for Pinterest runs deep. Today is yet another reason for my love affair.
I found a chocolate chip cookie recipe a few days ago that sounded pretty good. Today with the snow falling outside I decided to give the recipe a try. SAKES ALIVE, I am so glad that I did. Thank you i heart nap time!
Today during nap time I raided my pantry to find the ingredients. I will admit that I did not have the 3.4 oz package of vanilla instant pudding, but I did have two 1 oz pudding packages (sugar free), one was white chocolate and the other was french vanilla. Also we are not huge fans of white chocolate chips so I did not have those, therefore I just doubled the milk chocolate chips (2 cups). I cooked me cookies for about 13 minutes at 350, instead of the recommended 8-10 minutes. When I checked on my cookies at the 8-10 minute mark they still looked undercooked. I will say that I like my cookies still gooey in the middle and even at the 13 minute mark they still are. This recipe made almost 4 dozen cookies.
I WILL be making these again and I think they will be my go to from this point on! I had never heard of using pudding in cookies but I think that was the key. I may even try to use this as a base and try a few other add ins instead of just chocolate chips.
