Goodwill has been so good to me! Today was 50% off the entire store and $.99 jeans. Big brother and middle brother went with me and we cleaned up! We got 35 pieces of clothing and spent $53.52. Among those pieces of clothing I found four things for myself, a pair of Lucky jeans ($.99), a Calvin Klein blazer ($3.00), a Gap blazer ($3.00) and a black button down tunic shirt ($1.50). Brothers got shirts and then middle brother also got two pairs of pants. Middle brother is a shopper! He was picking out some pretty good stuff but more than that he was just picking out a bunch of stuff. We will have to keep our eye on him! Big brother got a shirt that says “Bazinga” for those that don’t know where that comes from it is what Sheldon says on Big Bang Theory, Big Brother thought that shirt was great… it is a little long but I figure it can go in the grow into box that I have for him. We got some pretty good stuff and I was pretty stoked! We came home and I told daddy how much money I spent and he said, “Well at least it was at Goodwill and you got a lot. There is going to come a time where our boys are not going to be okay shopping at Goodwill and until then I am okay with the money spent.” I remember when I was younger and I loved shopping at Amvets and Goodwill. Once I hit my junior year of high school I was over Goodwill and I wanted to spend money at the mall. I hope that my boys acknowledge the coolness of buying clothes at Goodwill and getting a bunch for the price of one shirt at the mall. This is one happy momma!
