Yesterday little brother and I had some errands to run in down town Denver. I rarely drive more than my ten mile radius so while we were down town for our errands we made a day of it and visited the capitol building, the Liberty Bell park and saw some fun statues. Little brother thought it was pretty cool all the tall buildings. I forget that living in a suburb is really removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Growing up in San Diego I really never went to down town and I was reminded yesterday about how neat it is to see such tall buildings and just the life of the busy area. Even with my mad backing up skills though I had to pay for parking in a lot there was no way I was going to get my suburban parallel parked in the midst of the traffic and very impatient people. Thankfully too just as we pulled into the parking lot there was an accident right behind us, we avoided that and that was part of the reason why we had to make a longer time of our trip, the road was totally closed. All in all, a pretty neat experience for little brother though.
