I have been in such a fog for the last month that I let the summer season sneak up on me. I think between the late snow we had and all the things I have had on my plate with volunteering I had clouded eyes. Big brother had his last day of school on Wednesday and it hit me… I have three boys to entertain for the next few months. Wednesday after school we went to the pool, Thursday we went to the park and today we went to the pool again. Are you seeing a pattern? Pool, park, pool – anything to wear out three boys. Granted the only thing that I successfully did was wear myself out. I woke up Tuesday morning with a crummy cold and have been battling it since. Summer is upon me and I better get myself into gear because these three are ready for a fun time. Sunday is the kick off for the summer reading program through our local library and I signed up all the boys. Monday morning big brother starts swim team, that will run through the whole summer three days a week for an hour each morning. VBS will be here before we know it. Swim lessons for the younger two will be the middle of June. The older two are going to San Diego to spend some time with my parents. We have my family reunion here in Steamboat Springs. I think we have a week of no plans then big brother is off to a week of summer camp and then another week then the kids are back to school. What? Yes, I just rambled off our entire summer plans and my head is spinning. Here is to summer and whatever it has in store for us.
